Privacy Policy

This careers portal is operated by Farbstoffe International. We use it to receive and review job applications. This page explains what we collect, why we need it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

Only what is needed to consider you for a role:

• Account details — your name, email address and password (stored encrypted, never in readable form).
• Contact information — phone number, city, province and address.
• Identity details — CNIC, date of birth and gender, used to verify applicants and meet employment record requirements.
• Professional information — education, work history, skills, expected salary, notice period and availability.
• Documents — your CV, certificates, experience letters and profile photo.
• Application activity — which jobs you applied for, your status, and interview records.
• Support requests — anything you send us through the support form, including screenshots you attach.
• Basic technical data — pages visited and general usage statistics, collected through Google Analytics to help us improve the site.

2. Why we use it

• To assess your suitability for the role you applied for.
• To contact you about your application, interviews and the outcome.
• To keep you in our talent pool for future openings, if you applied generally or gave us permission.
• To answer support requests and fix problems you report.
• To understand how the portal is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who can see it

• Members of our HR and hiring team who are involved in recruitment.
• The IT team, only where needed to keep the portal running or resolve a problem you reported.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

We do not share your application with other companies or recruiters. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

4. How we protect it

• The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
• Passwords are stored using one-way encryption — nobody, including our staff, can read them.
• CVs and documents are stored outside the public web folder and can only be opened by authorised staff.
• Administrator sign-in is protected by an additional one-time email code.
• Staff actions on candidate records are logged.
• Backups are taken regularly and stored securely.

5. How long we keep it

• While your account is open, we keep your profile so you don't have to re-enter it each time you apply.
• Application records are normally retained for up to two years so we can consider you for similar roles.
• If you delete your account, your profile, documents and applications are removed straight away.
• Support requests may be kept for our records, but are detached from your account when you delete it.

6. Your choices

• See and correct your information — sign in and open your profile at any time.
• Withdraw an application — from “My applications” in your dashboard.
• Change your availability — set yourself to “Not looking” and we will stop sending you job suggestions.
• Delete everything — go to My Account and use “Delete my account”. This permanently removes your profile, documents and applications.
• Unsubscribe from job alerts — every alert email has an unsubscribe link.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in — the portal cannot work without it. We also use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to apply.
