About this role

Responsibilities

• Subject Teaching: Teach Math to assigned classes, covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and calculus as per grade
• Lesson Planning: Prepare daily lesson plans, worksheets and teaching aids
• Concept Building: Explain concepts with examples, real-life problems and step-by-step methods
• Board Work: Deliver clear board work, diagrams and graphs, using models, charts and the smart board where available
• Assessment: Conduct weekly tests, monthly exams and class quizzes, check copies and give feedback
• Result Improvement: Focus on weak students and run extra classes or revision before exams
• Syllabus Coverage: Complete the syllabus on time as per BISE, Cambridge, Oxford or school policy
• Paper Pattern: Prepare students for MCQs, short questions and long questions
• Past Papers: Practise past papers and model papers for 9th, 10th, O-Level and A-Level
• Practical & Math Lab: Conduct math lab activities including geometry models, charts and measurements
• Class Management: Maintain discipline and participation in class
• Doubt Clearing: Give time for student questions after class
• Competition Prep: Prepare students for Math Olympiad, quizzes and board topper positions
• Counselling: Guide students on career options including Engineering, IT, Accounts and CSS

Requirements

• Graduation or Master's in Mathematics or a related subject
• 3 to 5 years of teaching experience
• Strong grip on concepts, fast calculation and clear explanation
• Familiarity with BISE, Cambridge and Oxford syllabus as applicable
• Patient, good communication, and able to use smart board, projector and GeoGebra
